[wp-docs] Codex Misspellings Maintenance Page

Is the Codex misspelling maintenance page
(http://codex.wordpress.org/index.php?title=Special:Maintenance&subfunction=mispeelings)
something developed just for the Codex? Could it be set to exclude the
IRC_Meetups and the es: (and other non-english pages when they appear)
automatically?

Barring that, would it damage the historical record if all the Meetup
pages had their spelling fixed to get those pages out of there and
make the misspellings maintenance page more useful?
