In reply to Matt's questions, as well as in general, I still stand by
what I said earlier about articles being released reasonably early.
While it is good to "release" finished articles, it can be better to
put partially complete articles in the Main namespace so that other
users can work on it, if they desire. I added a whole lot of links and
finished an article that was created and left as a stub the other day
(Weblog clients, i think it was)...

That is the nature of the beast (the wiki). This is why we did away
with userpages in the first place.
