Hello all,

I've had a couple of false negatives with akismet and my guestbook. I'm
using my Python Akismet module to do this -

I *haven't* yet implemented a way to report false negatives and
positives back to akismet. I'm rebuilding the guestbook to add an
administrators interface that will allow this.

It is *possible* that there is a bug in my implementation (slightly
unlikely though -you guys have created a very simple interface, for
which I'm very grateful).

What worries me is that the 'test' for akismet doesn't appear to work.
(It did work briefly after it was announced - but then stopped).

When I enter posts with the name 'viagra-test-123' - they are marked as
ham, not spam. Can you confirm whether this *is working* (and therefore
there is a bug in my code), or if it is currently not working ? If it
*isn't* working - can you switch it back on please, as it was very useful.

My guestbook spam *has* reduced - I've only had two in forty-eight
hours. This is still more than I would like. :-)

An example of spam that got through :

A new message has been posted in your guestbook by "Pit".
Email "watson at vacation.fineststars.com".
Homepage "http://debt.mylawsite.net".
Location "Business".
Time of Entry : "12:28 AM, Thursday 22 December, 2005".
Message "Hi! Thanks for very useful place! <br />Debt consolidation online best resources <br />http://debt.mylawsite.net <br />mail: webmaster at debt.mylawsite.net".
