Comment:

 I've looked at this briefly and I think one of the difficulties is that
 XLIFF supports multiple ''files'' inside a single XLIFF file. As far as I
 know, GlotPress doesn't support this concept yet.

 We could in theory parse the XLIFF file and just import every translation
 found, but losing the file information, we couldn't export a translated
 XLIFF file with enough information to be useful.
