 +1 couldn't agree more with all the arguments brought so far and those
 alone should be enough to justify the move. I think if someone really
 needs to have the current Glotpress as a standalone project the two
 branches may as well split and become two separate things. But I bet the
 WordPress plugin would receive a lot more attention and support than the
 current Glotpress does, for all the reasons already mentioned.
