 This is somewhat of a followup to #436 (thanks @yoavf for poitnting this
 out):

 Let's say we have an original like this:

     Singular: One comment
     Plural: %d comments

 then this should be translatable without warnings to

     Singular: %d commentaire
     Plural: %d commentaires

 because for example in French the singular is used for 0 and 1.

 Or to put it differently, a placeholder from plural can (but doesn't have
 to) be used in the singular too. This is achieved with the attached patch.
