 The benefits of having a "Suggest new translation" button as validators:

 - will allow a quick correction without actually validating the string (to
 have a second look later or ask another validator to have a look)

 - to allow validators to easily check each other's translations (for
 spellchecks on new strings, as QA measure)

 - to submit a new translation without validating it (to have a second look
 later or ask another validator to have a look)
