 I found what caused this. If you remove change from
 [http://backpress.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/359 359] in BackPress you
 only get this error for `gp_originals` table:

 {{{
 BLOB/TEXT column 'singular' used in key specification without a key length
 }}}

 If you then remove change from [918] you install with no errors.

 Since @yoavf participated in both changes, it's best to include him here.
