Comment (by markoheijnen):

 Added a new patch that fixes multiple methods in the translation router.
 Also removed preg_replace and set the slug blank inside the Translator set
 thing when the slug is default. in 67.3.diff I added a check inside the
 Thing object for checking if the id has been passed.
