 Hi @giszech

 There's probably a JavaScript issue preventing the crop preview to be
 loaded. You should have something like this:

 [[Image(https://i.imgur.com/YM3Ya4u.png)]]

 The above test was made with latest WordPress, the Twenty Twenty-Four
 theme and no other plugins than BuddyPress.

 Check your active plugins, deactivating them 1 by 1 to identify the one
 that is messing with BuddyPress, if the issue is still there, activate
 Twenty Twenty-Four to confirm it's an issue with your theme.

 From there, you can ask for help in https://buddypress.org/support/

 This is not an issue with BuddyPress.
