Comment:

 Hi, Thanks for your ticket. Testing BuddyPress 11, user registration and
 activation works as expected. For my own entertainment, I installed the
 current version of Youzify and registration and activation continued to
 work as expected.

 This doesn't appear to be a problem with BuddyPress, so I'd recommend
 standard WP troubleshooting: deactivate plugins until the behavior is
 fixed.
