 The Messages UI is using hardcoded slugs to build its routes. As soon as
 slugs are customized (using the BP Rewrites feature as a plugin), the
 Backbone Router is still using the default routes instead of using the
 customized ones. This Messages UI is no more usable in this case.

 The attached patch should fix this issue.
