 Hi,

 Thanks for your feedback @ExoConsult

 @espellcaste I believe it would be nice to only get the requested object
 for `get_item()`, `update_item()` and `create_item()` functions.

 My only concern is about people already using the BP REST API as we would
 probably break their developments. I think we need to think about a back
 compatibility mechanism now it's included into core.
