 [attachment:7821.diff] is a first pass.

 I've introduced three exporters: one for confirmed friendships
 ("Friends"), one for pending requests sent by the user ("Pending Friend
 Requests (Sent)"), one for pending friend requests sent *to* the user
 ("Pending Friend Requests (Received)"). See screenshots for the field
 names I selected. (I didn't have any pending received requests on this
 test install; it reads 'Initiator' instead of 'Recipient'.) Suggestions on
 language etc are welcome.
