 I would like to see the messaging core component be in a docked view on
 the side of the screen with a SMS looking interface. Currently the
 messaging feature looks and operates like email does with messages being
 held in an inbox, instead it would be good to see messages in a facebook
 style popup with text messages being held their.

  Also it would be good if this operated without the friends feature turned
 on. I know that it is possible to add a line of php to allow for this to
 happen, however for the user who does not know how to operate filezilla it
 would be very helpful if this was an option in settings.
