Comment:

 @DJPaul there will be two links after Nouveau enabled
 First, Home, domain.com/members/username leads to a front page of the
 profile where widgets can be added.
 Second, domain.com/member/username/profile which leads to profile page
 details.

 Communities might need to provide a direct link to member's front page(
 home tab ), right now with current BuddyPress menu links you have the only
 option to link profile, not the front page of the member.
