 When Nouveau generates activity buttons
 `bp_nouveau_get_activity_comment_buttons()`
 `bp_nouveau_get_activity_entry_buttons()`, it sets the default value of
 'parent_attr' (as passed to BP's button functions) as an empty string. But
 BP expects `'parent_attr'` to be an array, resulting in lots of PHP
 notices.
