 Well, for somebody just entering the scene, this is interesting. Glad to
 see some recent activity on this topic.

 I'd like to have one sync-free discussion system across the site. Each
 post would get it's automatic activity item on publish, which opens up the
 discussion - I think this is already working.

 But on the singular post view, I'd like to display only the activity
 thread starting with that particular post publish activity ID. Is this
 possible right now?

 Is it possible to get some details on what was determined to be non-
 trivial to move this forward?
