 Users feel the private messages component is outdated.

 Read receipt is a standard nowadays for messaging systems. This is missing
 in the current version of BP messaging system,  unlike other wp messaging
 plugins out there.

 It would greatly improve experience of users being frustrated of not
 receiving a reply to their message and expecting read receipt as a
 standard feature.
