Comment:

 Thanks for the report @lgreenwoo. I don't think honestly we have enough
 developers who'd be able to track this down until we know for sure it
 occurs in the eventual PHP 7.1 release. I can't imagine that BP is doing
 something so unusual that many other plugins aren't, so I think we're
 going to have to rely on one of those other, probably commercially-
 supported plugins, investigating this and passing upstream as appropriate.

 We'll take a look at this again after PHP 7.1 comes out.
