 Well, I just realized that I can remove the first part of the code which
 uses the filters `bp_groups_get_paged_groups_sql` and
 `bp_groups_get_total_groups_sql` and simply pass the list of groups ID (
 from $this->gmw_groups ) directly into the bp_has_groups() function using
 the include argument.
