 If you can get the image into the media library, it's unlikely to be with
 any kind of maximum file upload size within WordPress or BuddyPress, or
 within PHP. I don't believe we set anything like that anywhere.

 It *could* be memory related, since more stuff is loaded on the front of
 the website.

 @imath, any ideas?
