 When calling `bp_nav_menu()` the parent menu items only include the slug,
 so you end up with:

 `http://activity`

 I have a hunch this is related to r10745, #6534, and #4624, and
 `bp_get_nav_menu_items()`, but I ran out of time to troubleshoot further.
