 This Trac ticket is not a good place to discuss general ideas about the
 way the BuddyPress project is managed. If you've got ideas of this, a good
 place to stop by is the #buddypress channel on WordPress Slack:

 I'm not really sure what the nature of the current ticket is. The comments
 here seem to be all over the place, and don't really point to a problem
 with BuddyPress at all. If you are having a problem with avatar uploads,
 please provide as much detail as possible about what you expect to see,
 what you're actually seeing, and your BP/WP/server config. (And if you are
 seeing this "all over wordpress.org", it would be nice to have some
 corroborating links, so that we can see whether everyone is in fact having
 the same issue.)
