 Hi @DJPaul

 I released a welcome email plugin for BuddyPress two weeks ago after
 developing it for a client of mine last year. Can you let me know if this
 would now be included among the emails and if so when the plugin would no
 longer be necessary.

 I'm currently writing up the documentation for it. It does not currently
 have an admin settings page or any customizer controls to see what it
 looks like as you change the design.

 It is next on my to do list but after reading this post on WPTavern
 (http://wptavern.com/buddypress-2-5-development-kicks-off-bp-api-dev-chat-
 begins-this-week), I am now wondering if it would be best to wait on your
 feedback before proceeding with the development.

 I have only put filters in place at the moment to control and customize
 how it looks should the user wish to change the default settings.
