Comment:

 The Customizer already previews an email in the browser. Think to do this
 there, not in the publishing interface.

 I am very unconvinced that rendering an email template in the browser will
 return consistent quality results (those templates are written for the
 quirks of HTML email clients, specifically) but given we already sort-of
 preview them in the Customizer, if you want to expand on that there,
 that'll be fine.

 In fact, with your other ticket, I think the workflow should be:

 1) write your email content
 2) go to the customizer to modify colours and fonts, and preview
 3) click a send test email button.

 i.e. all in the customizer. I think I would need convincing to add more
 buttons inside wp-admin.
