Comment:

 I'm not too worried where it lives in the list. Whoever implements the
 feature can change all the IDs and rearrange things if there's a better
 way to do it.

 I much prefer to figure out why this sort of thing becomes unsynced, but
 since we have other similar tools, if someone wants to write this, I've no
 objection.
