 pertinent, imo.

 btw - nice backpat in the patch. I didn't know tiff had orientation data.
 Of course, anyone uploading tiffs should be flogged, imo.

 Hopefully, your patch passes muster and the same approach can be used for
 all instances where image uploads are supported.
