Comment:

 I'm not sure either what's up -- it sounds like there are some parts that
 could be pulled into a separate patch, but I know Boone's done some
 xprofile cache tweaks recently, I don't know if there's any
 overlap/redundancies.

 Reluctantly moving to 2.5 because this hasn't received any love in the
 last 6 months.
