Comment:

 The patch contains the functionality to replace the default avatar on
 avatar "First letter". The setting takes place in the admin. panel
 buddypress. You must place the folder "letters" with a picture of the
 letters in the directory "wp-content\plugins\buddypress\bp-core\images\".
 The patch and a folder with images attached.
