 We currently support activity stream / post comment synchronisation.
 However, this is 'hard coded' to just work with standard blog posts, and
 doesn't support custom post types.

 The underlying synchronisation support should be made more generic --
 supporting custom post types as well as standard blog posts.

 I suggest it would be a significant boost if the synchronisation worked
 for post type activities registered using the new post type activities
 tracking code, and in the ideal world if it could be used by any post type
 (regardless of whether tracking is registered by the post type activities
 code, or by a custom component implementation).
