 DJPaul - Are there specific aspects you'd like feedback on? The general
 architecture looks really nice to me, and the feature set seems excellent.
 Are you hoping for line-by-line code review, or just another opinion on
 the strategy? I personally am confident enough in the approach that I'd be
 glad for you to commit it, and we can work out any kinks in trunk.
