 Right now, when creating pages like "Register" and "Activate", the user
 has a "new page" button that takes them to a new "add new" page editor
 screen where they can create a new page. However, they are then just left
 there and have to re-navigate to Settings > BuddyPress and click into the
 Pages tab to actually set the newly created pages. This is an open circle,
 that is not very intuitive.

 As per discussion in #buddypress on slack, we should look into porting the
 slugs UI and API from bbPress. We could then implement this same
 functionality into the Pages tab and get new pages created on the fly
 without taking the user to new screens.
