 It is almost a web standard and default behavior of all social nets to
 show at least one image ( properly resized thumbnail so that it does not
 stick out of a theme or is ugly looking large) in a comment in activity
 streams if members have posted/attached images in the comment.

 I suggest that comments in activity stream in BP also allows this. Thanks.
