 @DJPaul, it's not a regression, it's something that was introduced a few
 days ago in trunk

 There's no problem with branch 2.4, you can check it by yourself :
 https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/browser/branches/2.4/src/bp-
 notifications/bp-notifications-loader.php (last change is r10303)

 @tw2113 committed r10417 on trunk only
