 I think the big challenge is "UI", my suggestions about this didn't
 satisfy see older comments/patches. So i think if we're working on a
 "like" feature and display avatars or text to inform who/how many people
 liked the activity, then: we first need to have a '''consensus about the
 UI'''.

 Other than that, i'm OK with DJPaul's course of action and would really be
 happy to have this in core :)
