Comment:

 I've uploaded a preliminary patch for a Visual Editor field type. There
 are a number of oddities I've addressed via inline comments. I've written
 the patch so that in theory people who have data already in their systems
 as a result of using my existing plugin should not lose it if/when the
 plugin becomes redundant.
