 A note, http://translate.wordpress.org/projects/buddypress/dev is pulling
 from https://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/buddypress/trunk/buddypress.pot. At
 the moment, however, these two files are the same:

  * https://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/buddypress/trunk/buddypress.pot
  * https://buddypress.svn.wordpress.org/branches/2.0/buddypress.pot

 If you want to populate /dev with new strings, then update the pot in
 plugins.svn. The script to pull this runs at :59 every hour.
