 `the_title` and `the_content` are functions that shouldn't really be used
 creatively. They represent the title and the content of the current post,
 not a breadcrumb or an HTML attribute or something else (isn't there an
 attribute specific title function that strips tags anyways?)

 I have a hunch the consensus among the leads will be to do whatever breaks
 the fewest things, while not compromising the best experience.
