 i think that bookmarking is a much more confusing concept to users than
 liking and just because you can use a thing in a certain way doesn't mean
 you have to.

 if we are talking about adding a feature to categorize/bookmark things
 that isn't covered by what liking does now i think we are actually adding
 a lot more complexity to what is now a fairly standardized UX convention.

 Not to say i disagree that it might be beneficial to have a discreet
 booking/categorizing system apart from liking, but that if we add a lot of
 new different ways to do a very basic thing which favoriting already does
 in a well understood and intuitive way it may backfire and nobody will
 bother using it.
