 Our roles and capabilities implementation is quite a ways off at this
 point; far enough where it's likely not worth thinking about for this
 feature. Once we go down that road, there are several specific places
 where it would be used for moderation before something like stats would
 become a privacy or role concern.

 I do agree that, eventually, pretty much everything will need role/cap
 checks. Until then, I think it's fine how it is.
