Comment:

 Thanks for the patches, dcavins. While I think they would work, I don't
 think it's a very straightforward solution - it'd be far clearer if one
 could pass a parameter into BP_Group_Extension::init() that'd perform this
 task. Let's do something along these lines for 2.0.
