 I forgot that plugins might use the user_status + activation_key
 mechanism. It's problematic. I'm afraid this patch is a bit too "direct".
 We could keep on creating users but removing their capacities till the
 signup is activated so that the {{{count_user()}}} WordPress function
 don't take them in account.
