 This is a follow-up to #2768. I've found that BuddyPress respects
 WordPress' comment depth settings when set to any number. However, when
 threaded comments are disabled (the box is not checked), then the BP
 comment replies go back to unlimited. The expected behavior would be to
 have comment replies completely turned off if threaded comments are set to
 disabled.
