Comment:

 Confirmed. This also appears to be a problem in 1.9.x, so it's not a
 regression.

 My guess is that the AJAX request that goes to fetch the full text does
 not run that text through all of the correct filters before returning it
 to the browser.

 Let's take a look for 2.1.
