 If anyone has an idea how to implement this in a theme/plugin for the time
 being, I've been trying to figure out how to do this. It seems that there
 are provisions in place in the code (in
 `BP_Group_Member_Query::get_group_member_ids()` for instance, which sets
 `$sql['orderby']`) but for me it's unclear how to change this.
