 I guess I was more thinking of test for, for example,
 `bp_core_get_notifications_for_user()`, which would show us that the
 refactored function (which uses the new `get()` under the hood) is
 returning the same values as the function currently does. That said, I
 don't think it's a showstopper, as the changes seem pretty
 straightforward.
