 Add front-end “Add Media” functionality like of the p2 Theme  to the
 Buddypress activity module.

 I have no idea how difficult this would be ! But i suggest that it merits
 consideration.

 I just think media is now the blood of social networks. Previously it was
 words.

 IMHO you need a consistent future proof interface - controlled by you guys
