 Are you using bbPress 2.4 or greater? If so, this should be fixed:
 http://bbpress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/2368 If you're using bbPress 2.x
 but less than 2.4, please upgrade.

 If you're using the bbPress 1.x software that ships with BuddyPress (the
 "legacy forums"), then it should already work; see bp-groups-activity.php,
 where we hook `groups_update_last_activity()`.
