 As we discussed a few weeks ago, I think that the `$requery` param misses
 the mark. The bug here is not that the data needs to be requeried, it's
 that the cache should be (but isn't being) deleted - and *that*, in turn,
 will cause another query. wpdennis's solution seems to strike more at the
 heart of the issue.
